Children North East, Regional Resource Centre for Fatherhood
Provides advice and information to organisations and agencies that are developing their fatherhood work as well as to individual fathers and fathers' groups.

Community Practitioners’ and Health Visitors’ Association
UK professional organisation for health visitors, school nurses, mental health nurses, nursery nurses and other community nurses working in primary care. The Unite/CPHVA is a section of the Unite trade union which is the third largest union in the NHS.

Connexions
Connexions is a multi-agency service, which provides information, advice and guidance to young people, along with access to personal development opportunities. Connexions is currently going through a process of transition. By April 2008, the funding that currently goes directly to the 47 Connexions partnerships will go to the 150 local authority areas.

Men's Aid

One Parent Families/Gingerbread
A lone parents' website (fathers and mothers) offering practical and emotional support, including benefits, education, and housing. They publish the Young Mum’s Guide (including regional editions) and a Pregnant Teenagers and Young Parents Resource Pack which is updated annually. Offers free helpline.

Sure Start
A government programme that brings together early education, childcare, health and family support. The Sure Start, Extended Schools and Childcare group in DCSF is responsible for delivering Sure Start.

Teenage Pregnancy Unit (TPU)
The Teenage Pregnancy Unit is located in the Young People’s Directorate of the Department for Children, School and Families (DCSF) and is responsible for the Government’s teenage pregnancy strategy. The teenage pregnancy section of the Every Child Matters website contains useful information about the Strategy including further guidance on implementing the strategy and research and statistics on teenage pregnancy.

Trust for the Study of Adolescence (TSA)
